Matt Tobolski
Matt Tobolski has served as CEO of AAON since May 2025. He leverages the talents of AAON’s operations, engineering, sales, marketing, and administration teams to drive sustainable growth and continue delivering best-in-class solutions to customers. Prior to this role, Matt served as President and Co-Founder of BASX Solutions from the company’s inception in 2013 until AAON acquired BASX. He served as the President and CEO of Tobolski Watkins Engineering, a structural and earthquake engineering firm, from 2008 to 2017 and as Executive Advisor at Structural Integrity Associates from 2017 to 2020, following the acquisition of Tobolski Watkins Engineering. Matt earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and an MS and PhD in Structural Engineering from the University of California San Diego. He is a member of ASHRAE and ASCE and is a licensed Civil and Structural Engineer in California, Oregon, and Washington.
Matt Shaub
Matt Shaub, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the BASX Business Unit since January 2025, leads teams in engineering, product management, and customer care to drive innovation and rapidly respond to market demands. He brings extensive experience leading high-performance teams across manufacturing, engineering, program management, product management, M&A strategy, and customer service. Matt previously served as AAON's Global Director of Product Management in 2024, where he enhanced product management strategies for existing and new products and solutions. Prior to AAON, he served three years as Senior Vice President of Operations and Strategy at HB Global, LLC, and 22 years at Johnson Controls in various leadership roles, including Vice President of Strategy for DX Ducted Systems and Vice President and General Manager of Commercial Ducted Systems.
Andy Chueng
Andy Cheung joined AAON in April of 2026 as the Executive Vice President Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. He oversees all financial operations and investment strategy to support rapid, and scalable growth of the Company.
For the last three years before joining AAON, Andy served as Executive Vice President and CFO at Commercial Vehicle Group Inc., and before that he spent over 25 years in both the HVAC and automotive industries holding various financial leadership positions. He received his MBA from the University of Chicago.
Rebecca Thompson
Rebecca Thompson, AAON’s former Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, serves as Chief Accounting Officer, a position she previously held from 2012 to 2021. In this role, Rebecca will continue to use her expertise as a certified public accountant, and her history with AAON, to strengthen financial reporting and governance.
Rebecca, also a member of the Choctaw Tribe, served as Senior Manager for 11 years in the assurance division at Grant Thornton, LLP. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Information Systems and Accounting from the University of Tulsa.
Doug Wichman
Doug Wichman serves as executive vice president and general manager of the AAON Business Unit, leveraging more than a decade of experience with the company. In this role, he oversees the translation of corporate objectives into strategic business plans, development and execution of product roadmaps, and management of engineering and R&D for semi-custom HVAC solutions. He also directs technical support for channel partners and end-users, while collaborating with sales and operations leaders to ensure effective marketing, production, and procurement strategies that meet customer demand.
Wichman began his AAON career in 2012 as a production and manufacturing engineer in Tulsa. He advanced through leadership positions including plant manager and director of manufacturing before relocating to Texas to lead AAON’s Longview facility. There, he served as both executive vice president and president of AAON Coil Products. In 2025, Wichman returned to Tulsa as vice president of business strategy and performance for the AAON Business Unit.
Throughout his tenure, Wichman’s deep expertise in manufacturing processes and strategic development continues to drive innovation and operational excellence across the organization.
Casey Kidwell
Casey Kidwell oversees human resources, security, safety, and IT to uphold AAON’s culture and ensure every team member has the tools they need to be successful inside and outside of work. He previously served as AAON’s Director of Administration since 2021 after working almost ten years in various HR and IT roles at WPX Energy, including as Human Resources Operations Manager. In March 2024, Casey received a Service Member Patriot Award from the Oklahoma ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve).
Luke Bomer
Luke Bomer joined AAON in April of 2026 in a new role of General Counsel where he will support increased focus on governance, compliance, and risk management for the Company. He has served on AAON’s outside counsel and as corporate secretary since 2015. Luke previously served Jonson & Jones, a Tulsa-based firm, as their attorney for almost two decades. Luke is an alumnus of the University of Tulsa College of Law.
